A lucky winner has claimed the Powerball jackpot, which reached an impressive $527 million after no one won the top prize in Wednesday’s drawing.

The winner, who matched all six numbers in the March 29 drawing, now has the option of receiving a lump-sum cash payment of $243.8 million.

In the previous drawing on Wednesday, three players from California, Washington D.C., and New York won $1 million each.

Earlier this year, an Oregon player won the first Powerball jackpot of 2025, taking home $328.5 million on January 18.

The winning numbers for the March 29 Powerball drawing were: 7, 11, 21, 53, 61, and Powerball 2, with a Powerplay multiplier of 3X. The drawing took place just after 11 p.m. ET.
