A lucky EuroMillions player in Ireland has won €500,000 after purchasing a ticket from Callaghan’s XL on Main Street, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.
The winner will collect the top prize from the EuroMillions Plus draw. The winning numbers were 5, 16, 21, 36, and 46.
This marks Letterkenny’s second significant win this year. On March 10th, the town also saw a €1,000,000 win in the Daily Million draw, with the ticket sold at Kernan’s Service Station in Tullygay.
The National Lottery is advising players in Donegal to check their tickets. If you hold the winning ticket, contact the National Lottery’s prize claims team at 1800 666 222 .
Darragh O’Dwyer, a spokesperson for the National Lottery, said: “What an exciting night for Letterkenny! A local player has won the EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000, making it a life-changing win. This is the 13th EuroMillions Plus win in Ireland this year. Over 49,000 players have won prizes in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws so far in 2025.”
