MIDDLESEX COUNTY, VA (WRIC) — A $1 million Mega Millions ticket purchased in Deltaville remains unclaimed and is set to expire soon.
The ticket, which won the Nov. 22, 2024 drawing, will become worthless if not redeemed by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21. Under Virginia law, winners must claim their prizes within 180 days of the drawing.
The winning ticket was bought at the 7-Eleven located at 16624 General Puller Highway in Deltaville. It matched all five white ball numbers — 13, 20, 26, 32, and 65 — but missed the Mega Ball, which was 2.
According to the Virginia Lottery, any unclaimed prizes will go to the state’s Literary Fund. This fund helps provide low-interest loans for public school construction, renovations, and technology upgrades.
