The Powerball jackpot has increased to $418 million for the drawing on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, after no one won the top prize in Monday’s draw.
The winner of the jackpot can choose a one-time cash option of $195 million.
On Monday, two players from Colorado and Pennsylvania won $1 million each, according to the lottery.
The first Powerball jackpot winner of 2025, a player from Oregon, claimed a $328.5 million prize on January 18.

To play Powerball, purchase a ticket for $2. Tickets are available at local convenience stores, gas stations, or grocery stores. In some states, tickets can also be bought online.
Select six numbers: five white balls (from 1 to 69) and one red Powerball (from 1 to 26). You can add the “Power Play” option for $1, which multiplies non-jackpot prizes by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X.
If you prefer, you can use the “Quick Pick” option to have the computer select the numbers for you. To win the jackpot, match all five white balls in any order, along with the red Powerball.
