Fort Worth Mega Millions Player Wins $5 Million, Jackpot Climbs to $29 Million (3.30)

by Nancy

A Fort Worth Mega Millions player won $5 million in the Friday, March 28 drawing, narrowly missing the $20 million jackpot. The winning ticket was sold at a Racetrac store located at 6495 Camp Bowie Blvd., according to the Texas Lottery Commission.

The ticket, which included the Megaplier option, correctly matched all five white ball numbers (2, 9, 31, 60, and 63) but did not match the gold Mega Ball (23). The Megaplier number was 5. No one won the jackpot, which will increase to an estimated $29 million for the next drawing on Tuesday, April 1. The Texas winner was the only player to match all five numbers. The cash option for the upcoming jackpot is approximately $13.3 million.
