A Powerball ticket worth $50,000 in Summerville is set to expire if not claimed by Thursday afternoon.
The winning ticket was purchased at Spinx, located at 360 E. 5th North Street, on October 5 of last year. The winning numbers from that drawing were 2, 12, 46, 52, 65, and the Powerball was 3.
Lottery officials confirmed that the ticket matched four white ball numbers and the red Powerball to win $50,000. The prize must be claimed at the Columbia Claims Center by 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, or mailed with a postmark by that date.
If the prize is not claimed, the $50,000 will be transferred to the Education Lottery Account to fund educational programs across the state.
Players have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their winnings.
