A lucky Auckland player has become the latest multi-millionaire after winning a staggering $23 million from the Powerball First Division. The winning ticket, purchased on MyLotto, also earned an additional $333,333 from the Lotto First Division.
This win marks the eighth Powerball multi-millionaire of the year, with the Auckland player securing a life-changing prize.
In addition to the Powerball winner, two other Lotto players will also be celebrating. Both players have won $333,333 in the Lotto First Division. One ticket was sold at Pak’nSave Mangere in Auckland, while the other was purchased through MyLotto by a player from the Waikato.
A Strike player also claimed a $1 million prize by winning Strike Four. This winning ticket was also purchased on MyLotto by a player from Auckland.
Lotto players who bought tickets from Pak’nSave Mangere or through MyLotto are urged to check their tickets as soon as possible, either in-store or online.
